Update 6:00 PM: The Polaris Supreme currently has 73 Bluefin on the boat for their 3 Day trip!
The San Diego wrapped up their trip at the Coronado Islands today with 10 Bluefin and 26 Yellowtail for their 22 anglers. Their Bluefin weighed in around 30 to 40 pounds and the Yellowtail around 15 to 25 pounds. Captain Matt strongly recommended a 30# flyline outfit and 40/50# yo-yo outfit if you are headed out with them to the Islands. He mentioned that a lot of the Bluefin have been in shallow so losses are higher than normal, coming prepared with proper gear can make all the difference! The San Diego still has spots open for their Coronado Islands trip tomorrow and Wednesday!
The New Seaforth wrapped up their local Full Day charter with 2 Yellowtail, 100(limits) Bonito, 25 Calico bass with 75 released, 3 Sand bass, 2 Sheephead and 5 Vermilion rockfish for their 20 anglers. The New Seaforth will be back to their regular scheduled programming tomorrow.
The El Gato Dos finished up their Full Day charter with 8(limits) Bluefin tuna for their group of 4 anglers. There is still plenty of time and availability for a trip on the El Gato Dos this season. Give us a call here in the office to book your trip!
The Sea Watch took over Half Day duties today and ended their AM trip with 2 Bonito, 12 rockfish, 27 Whitefish and 3 Sheephead for their 12 anglers.
