Mountain Hardware & Sports
Boca Reservoir got stocked with rainbows last week and the fishing has been pretty good off of the dam. Anglers shore fishing from the dam are recommended to inflate a night crawler with a marshmallow and use a 3-foot leader. Anglers trolling for kokanee at Boca are doing okay fishing in 50 feet of water in the middle of the lake. Some kokanee are starting to color up here. Anglers trolling for trout have caught some nice, holdover rainbows recently trolling in 30 feet of water. For the most bites, use dick nites, small sierra spoons, apex lures, rapalas and flasher and worm combos at Boca Reservoir, which is at 84% capacity.
