Aqueduct anglers kept pressure on the catfish

Aqueduct anglers kept pressure on the catfish while using SSS Dip Bait, cut anchovies, and chicken liver. There were several reports of anglers landing limits with some good-sized catfish in the mix. A ton of small striped bass were showing this week with a few keepers in the mix. Anglers were scoring 30 to 35 striper a day with most of them being undersize on cut anchovies at Tupman and BV golf course. Bass anglers used Whopper Ploppers, walking baits, and poppers to land some solid largemouth. Drop shot Roboworms also produced good results before and after check gates.

Pyramid Lake, CA: As usual Pyramid Lake’s water level was full pool
Lake Isabella: Isabella dropped to 32 percent of capacity and is gradually dropping
Kern River: Here in the Upper Kern, the DFWL stocked trout throughout the 20-mile stretch this week
Lake Kaweah: The water level remained steady at 10 percent of Kaweah’s storage capacity
Lake Success: Success Lake dropped to 27 percent of its storage capacity
River Walk Lakes: Anglers have been scoring bass in the early and later hours of the day
Ming Lake: The bass bite has slowed down here
Buena Vista Lakes: Bass anglers reported fair to decent fishing
Hart Park Lake: Hart Park was fair last week
Lake Nacimiento: Anglers reported good late summer fishing for spotted bas
