Fish Report for 5-17-2024

Success rose to 78 percent of its storage capacity

Success rose to 78 percent of its storage capacity, and bass fishing remained good for anglers throwing finesse baits, Senkos, and jigs. Shaky heads, Ned rigs, and small swimbaits all took largemouth with dark green, brown, and purple fooling plenty of bass. Jigs worked well for bigger bass holding in the trees. Crappie reports were decent with a few anglers dialing in on schools holding over rocky structure. Minijigs tipped with crappie nibbles did the trick. Catfish have been reliable for anglers offering dip bait and cut baits to the whisker fish.
