Anglers reported fair to good fishing at the aqueduct with striper and catfish as the best bets. Striped bass ate cut sardines, lugworms, and jumbo live shiners after check gates. Lure anglers used flukes on a jig head, tube baits, and lipless crankbaits to fool fish. The artificial bait anglers reported working their lures slower to entice a bite. Bass anglers used drop shot and Senkos in the eddies before and after check gates. Bass also fell for jerkbaits. Catfish anglers threw chicken liver, dip bait, fresh shrimp, and cut baits for good results.
