Pyramid Lake held between 90 and 92 percent of capacity, and water temperatures dropped below 70 degrees
10-20-2023
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
Pyramid Lake held between 90 and 92 percent of capacity, and water temperatures dropped below 70 degrees. Bass anglers reported a decent bite on finesse baits, jigging spoons, and topwater baits. Most of the action occurred before 10 a.m. with stick baits scoring bites in 5 to 15 feet of water after that. Striped bass ate cut sardines and anchovies in the marina, Yellowbar, and in front of Glory Hole Cove. Trolled umbrella rigs scored a better grade of striped bass over main lake points. Catfish anglers soaked chicken liver and cut baits for good results throughout the lake.
