Kaweah Lake held at 11 percent of capacity, and anglers reported decent fishing for spotted bass. Drop shot, shaky heads and stick baits worked for bites in 10 to 25 feet of water with Ox Blood, Aaron’s Magic and Smokin’ Shad all working well. Most of the spotted bass have been on the small side, but a few larger bass were reported by anglers using jigs on ledges and underwater rock piles. Crappie anglers used small live shiners and minijigs for decent results, and catfish picked up dip baits, cut sardines and chicken liver.
