Nacimiento Lake fell to 59 percent of capacity, and water temperatures dropped below 70 degrees. Fall spotted bass fishing remained solid in 10 to 25 feet of water with finesse baits producing well. Small swimbaits on the underspin scored bites when slow rolled in deeper water. Deep diving jerkbaits and topwater lures fooled a few fish as well. White bass anglers scored bites with in-line spinners and spoons on the troll or cast after metering a school of fish. Catfish ate cut baits, chicken liver, and dip bait, and crappie fell for minijigs tipped with crappie nibbles.
