Donner Lake Fishing Report
9-1-2023
Mountain Hardware & Sports
At Donner Lake, anglers are trolling for trout and kokanee near the boat ramp and west end beach. Kokanee are biting on wedding rings, Rocky Mountain tackle super squids, and hum dingers in copper and orange. Anglers trolling for trout at Donner lake are recommended to use a night crawler behind a chrome dodger. Shore anglers are still finding a good bite by the docks on the west end and the shoreline park using powerbait and worms off the bottom. Donner Lake is at 96% capacity.
