Boca Reservoir Fishing Report

Mountain Hardware & Sports
At Boca, Anglers fishing off the dam with powerbait and worms off the bottom, or, with a bobber in the morning or evening, are producing good size rainbows and browns. Another good spot to shore fish is the inlet where the Little Truckee flows in. Just remember, the Little Truckee river proper is catch and release with no bait allowed. Anglers who want to troll should try trolling with Dick Nite spoons and needle fish around the western shore. Boca Reservoir is currently at 75% capacity.
