At Donner Lake, anglers trolling for kokanee are finding the bite in 40 to 50 feet of water using watermelon dodgers and pink hoochies, or Koke o nuts in pink and orange. Anglers trolling for trout at Donner lake right now are recommended to use a night crawler behind a chrome dodger. Shore anglers are still finding a good bite by the docks on the west end and the shoreline park using powerbait and worms. Donner Lake is at 97% capacity.
