 Brian just checked in with his friend Matthews monster catfish out of Buena Vista! Trolling for crappie with a Berkley Flicker Shad, inhaled it! Also caught a few crappie along with this big ol cat! Love to see it guys

California Aqueduct: Grab some worms and go fishing because the aqueduct bite has been on fire!
Castaic Lake: The lake remained near maximum capacity, and fishing has been fair
Pyramid Lake, CA: Pyramid Lake remained at over 90 percent of capacity, and the algae bloom is in effect
Lake Isabella: Multiple double-digit bass caught over the past few week
Kern River: In the Upper Kern, the flows have slowed a bit
Lake Kaweah: The lake is near maximum capacity and still rising
Lake Success: Success Lake held at 90 percent of capacity
River Walk Lakes: There is a decent bluegill bite here
Ming Lake: At Ming, the bluegill bite is excellent

California Aqueduct: The bite has been the best in the mornings and evenings
Castaic Lake: Anglers reported heavy boat traffic and murky water conditions after the 4th
Pyramid Lake, CA: Heavy boat traffic made for tough fishing conditions
Lake Isabella: Isabella has been producing quality bass
Kern River: High flows over 6000 CFS has made it impossible to fish and dangerous
Lake Kaweah: Kaweah Lake rose to 92 percent of capacity
Lake Success: The lake rose to 90 percent of capacity, and fishing has been good
Ming Lake: The lake is still producing a good number of bass
Buena Vista Lakes: Heavy boat traffic pushed largemouth deep into the weeds and cattails
Hart Park Lake: Anglers reported a decent bite and heavy fishing pressure over the 4th
Lake Nacimiento: The lake fell to 88 percent of capacity, and fishing has been good
