The Fall River is fishing well

6-16-2023
Fly and Field Outfitters

The Fall River is fishing well. A recent stocking of trout has ramped up the action a bit. These fresh trout will migrate throughout the system to find areas they like so crowding the hatchery isn’t your best option. There are good numbers of fish in other areas and exploring some new water sometimes pays off big time. As far as flies jigged and balanced leeches, two-bits, zebra midges, eggs, and perdigons have all been effective. Some of the larger trout will go after streamers and sculpin, crayfish, or leech streamers are productive.
