The Metolius River continues to fish well

6-9-2023
Fly and Field Outfitters

The Metolius River continues to fish well. Nymphing remains the best technique for all times of the day but green drakes, PMDs, and a variety of caddis have been around as well. As far as nymphs go we have been liking golden stones, jig and balanced leeches, pheasant tails, copper jons and caddis nymphs. Large streamers are the ticket for targeting bull trout.
