Fly and Field Outfitters

The Upper Deschutes has been fishing fair. Some people have been reporting good days while other have reported slow days. Jigged leeches, small buggers, two-bits, green drake nymphs, and eggs have all been catching fish. Green Drake dries should also be kept on hand as these large mayflies are currently hatching up there. When nymphing adding a bit os split shot helps to make sure your flies are getting down nice and deep. Make sure to pack some bug spray as the mosquitos up there can get pretty bad.
