Crane Prairie has been fishing fair

6-9-2023
Fly and Field Outfitters

Crane Prairie has been fishing fair. Fish have been coming on dark and olive leeches, two-bits, and small chironomids 18-20 in gray and olive. The Cultus and Deschutes areas have been the most productive and lots of fish have been taken on flies 4-5 feet under the indicator rather than right on the bottom. As always stripping or paddle trolling around some bugger or leech patterns is a fun way to find some fish and cover some water.
