Crane Prairie is fishing well
5-12-2023
Fly and Field Outfitters
Crane Prairie is fishing well. It sounds like the resort is still the only accessible launch as the cascade lakes highway is still closed for snow and tree removal. Balanced leeches in olive have been working well as have small midge/chironomid patterns. Fish seem to be pretty spread out but we have been doing well around the cultus arm. With the warm weather coming up expect to see more surface activity. Rock Creek and Quinn are still snowed in but that should change quickly with the heat wave coming up.
