Fish Report for 10-28-2022
Bass fishing was good last week
10-28-2022
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
The lake fell to 5 percent of capacity, and bass fishing was good last week. Drop shot plastic worms and grubs worked well in 10 to 20 feet of water with a few anglers reporting 5 to 10 fish after locating biting schools of largemouth. Jigs worked for bigger bass on main lake points and in the trees. There was also a decent crankbait bite on deep divers. Crappie took small live minnows and minijigs near the marina, and catfish anglers used dip bait, cut baits, and chicken liver to fool whisker fish.
