Fly and Field Outfitters
We have been hearing improving reports from Crane. Still a bit slow overall but that should improve as we head into summer. The folks who are doing well are reporting success on balanced leeches and chironomids. Stripping flies is also a good idea as you can cover lots of water and find some willing fish. Hatches have been sparse but this should also improve as we move into summer. We’re excited for the fishing to pick up a bit and to get after some fish on Crane this year.
Recommended Dries: Chubby Chernobyl Patriot and Purple #12-14, Para- Cricket #16-12
Recommended Nymphs: Bruised Ballanced Leech #14, Two Bit Hooker #20, Zebra Midge #18-20, Super Sinker #16-18, bead wing midge #18-20, Red Pheasant Tail #14-18, Rainbow Warrior #18-20, Red Ice Cream Cone #12-16
