Another week of smörgåsbord activity for this area that produced a
wide variety of catches for the anglers. The fleet reported in for 7
days fished that reflected 4 dorado, 4 grouper, 4 triggerfish, 8
Atlantic barracuda, 2 king mackerel, 2 bonito and 5 Spanish mackerel,
(Sierra). According to Arrmando Gutierrez, fleet manager, "it seemed
like every rigged bait that went out produced something different for
the anglers and made for some really fun fishing".
PM Climate: A pleasant but warm week, partly cloudy days and temps
that ranged from 73 nights to 95 daytime highs.
Sea Conditions: A very good week for overall sea conditions with
temps that held stable at 87 degrees and provided light easterly
tropical breezes.
Best Bait: The rigged ballyhoo continue to be the most productive
for this area.
