Donner Lake Still Has a Great Shore Bite
6-11-2021
Mountain Hardware & Sports
Donner Lake still has a great shore bite on planted rainbows in china cove and between the boat ramp and loch leven lodge. Anglers trolling for Kokanee are having success early in the mornings at the first light of the day. Some kokanee are topping out around 12 inches in size. Anglers trolling for Kokanee should try using standard kokanee bugs or hoochies with lemonade dodgers in 45 feet of water. Macks are stacked up in the holes around 120 feet of water. Anglers jigging for macks should try using buzzbombs and cripplures.
Donner Lake is currently at 90% capacity.
