The Little Truckee River has flows consistent with last week. Anglers are seeing a hatch in the mornings of blue winged olives, midges, and the occasional pale morning duns. Anglers should expect to see more pale morning duns as the days warm up and become longer. Some recommended flies for anglers to try on the Little Truckee River are size 20 beadhead pheasant tail flashbacks, size 20 black or red zebra midges, size 16 parachute pale morning duns, or size 18 blue winged olive emergers.
