The weather didn't stop anglers from getting some quality fishing in at the lakes. Power Bait ( especially salmon peach, lemon twist and rainbow), night crawlers, jigs and lures all caught limits and the big trout. We had a lot of big trout go out. Hot spots included the grassy point and the eastern logged shore from the inlet to the pump house as well as the northern, western and southern shores of lake 2.

Other Catches of the Week: Jason Ocull of Phelan caught 4 lbs 3 ozs and 4 lbs using salmon peach Power Bait on the north shore of lake 3. Long Beach angler, Toshiro Mui, reeled in a 4 lbs 11 ozs rainbow on spring green Power Bait while fishing the grassy point of lake 3. Robbie Roteman of Phelan caught a 3 lbs 11 ozs on a Thomas Buoyant on the eastern logged shore of lake 3. Jason Ocull Jr caught a 4 lbs 4 ozs rainbow on lemon twist Power Bait from the north shore of lake 3. Daniel Colantuono of Hesperia reeled in a 4 lbs 4 ozs trout using salmon peach Power Bait while fishing the eastern shore of lake 3. Green Valley angler, James Bon, caught his 5 lbs 5 ozs raimbow on a tube jig near the log on the eastern shore of lake 3. Robert Shandor of Riverside caught a 3 lbs 11 ozs rainbow on spring green Power Bait while fishing the north shore of lake 2 near the bridge. Victorville angler, Mike Torres, reeled in a 4 lbs 8 ozs rainbow on a Power Worm from the north shore of lake 2. Another Victorville angler, Marty Martinez, used yellow Power Bait to catch his 4 lbs 1 ozs rainbow from the northern shore of lake 2. Steven Barela of Hesperia caught 3 lbs 7 ozs and 3 lbs 8 ozs rainbows on Power Worms from the northern shore of lake 2. Jason Orellano reeled in a 4 lbs 4 ozs trout on salmon peach Power Bait while fishing the eastern shore of lake 2. Johnnie Perez scored a 4 lbs 5 ozs rainbow using a power worm from the northern shore of lake 2. Rancho Cucamonga angler, Fred Winterswyk, caught his 4 lbs 6 ozs and 5 lbs 8 ozs rainbows to finish his limit using a Jake and Thomas Buoyant. He fished both lakes 2 and 3. Norm Blair of Simi Valley took home a 15 lbs 4 ozs limit that included a 3 lbs 7 ozs rainbow. Blair used white Power Worms and fished the logged eastern shore of lake 3. Rodger Soper of Canyon Country caught his 4 lbs 12 ozs trout on pink lemonade Power Bait while fishing the western shore of lake 2. San Dimas angler, Lloyd Miyashiro, reeled in his 3 lbs 10 ozs rainbow using garlic Power Bait while fishing the western shore of lake 2. William Kagy used an orange Power Worm to catch his 4 lbs trout on the grassy point of lake 3. Bill Adams of Hesperia took home a 16 lbs limit that included a 4 lbs 6 ozs trout. Adams used a red and white crappie jig and fished the northern shore of lake 3.

The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round.
This year the Lakes' hatchery is amping up the weekly trout stockings with bigger fish overall.
