Puerto Morelos Fish Report- Marina El Cid, Cancun- Cozumel Area

King Mackerel were, by far, the fish of the week at Puerto Morelos
and the longer the fishing day the more kings caught. Overall
reports for 12 fishing days reflected 45 king mackerel, 5 Atlantic
barracuda, 3 dorado and 2 triggerfish. The Mr. Dinham party, fishing
early in the week aboard the "Pescadora II", landed 11 king mackerel
to 24 lbs.
PM Climate: Partly cloudy days with temps from 65 nights to 84
daytime highs.
Sea Conditions: The sea temp climbed this week to 79-80 throughout
the area, mostly calm waters with light surface breezes.
Best Lure/Bait: Continues to be rigged ballyhoo for this area

The full moon had taken it's toll this past week at Ixtapa- Zihuatanejo and according to Captain Temo Verboonen, the fish bit less and less through the full moon days.
