According to Captain Temo Verboonen, the fishing was good this past week, but was slowed a little due to the full moon phase. Captain Fito, super panga, "Pescador", reported 6 sailfish, 6 dorado and 4 bonito and Captain Adolfo, "Dos Hermanos", reported 3 sailfish, 1 sierra, 1 triple tail and 1 mero on conventional tackle and 4 sailfish and 3 dorado on flyfishing tackle. Captain Temo, "Secuestro de Amor", reported 3 sailfish, 1 dorado, and 1 lost marlin, all on the fly and "La Bamba" reported in with 8 sailfish. The inshore fishing was very good for jack cravelle, but no roosters reported.

IZ Climate: Mostly sunny, warm and picture perfect conditions, temps from 73 nights to 88 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Mostly calm, 83 inshore and rising to 85 offshore, with blue water as close as a mile off the bay.

Best Lure/Bait: The preferred bait this week was live mackerel, when available. Rigged baits were also working well.

The full moon had taken it's toll this past week at Ixtapa- Zihuatanejo and according to Captain Temo Verboonen, the fish bit less and less through the full moon days.
