Puerto Morelos Fish Report- Marina El Cid, Cancun- Cozumel Area
11-27-2008
Larry Edwards
Armando Gutierrez, reporting for the Puerto Morelos/Marina El Cid
fleet, reflected decent fishing for their eight fishing days that
included 2 sailfish, 2 dorado, 4 king mackerel and 11 giant
barracuda. Armando says the angler activity has been quite slow at
the Marina, but the fish are biting well and for the boats that fish
the 8-hour day and have the ability to get off shore a little
farther, are doing well and taking a shot at the sails and dorado.
PM Climate: Mostly cloudy days, temps from 65 nights to 89 daytime
highs and humid.
Sea Conditions: Easterly tropical breezes continue with water temps
at 81-82 throughout the area.
Best Lure/Bait: Rigged ballyhoo took the billfish and dorado.
