THE PUERTO MORELOS FISH REPORT - MARINA EL CID, CANCUN-COZUMEL AREA

The boats are reflecting a wide variety of species that has included
sailfish, too, which is unusual for this time of year. Overall
catches reflected for 18 days fished were 3 sailfish, 4 grouper, 1
wahoo, 10 king mackerel, 15 triggerfish, 7 Spanish mackerel, 8
bonito, 2 tuna, 5 snapper and 34 giant barracuda.
Puerto Morelos Climate: Temps ranging from 78 nights to 98 daytime highs, mostly cloudy and humid, some pm showers.
Sea Conditions: Calm to about 15 knots of easterly tropical breezes, some surface shop, temps at 82-83 throughout the area.
Best Bait/Lure: Rigged baits, (ballyhoo) have been producing most of the catches.
