THE IXTAPA-ZIHUATANEJO FISH REPORT - THE INDEPENDENT SPORTFISHING FLEET
8-7-2008
Larry Edwards
According to Captain Temo Verboonen, "Secuestro De Amor", the fishing
has been very good this week and the only downside is the lack of
anglers. He reports a good roosterfish bite and a big school of
needlefish passing through that cut a lot of poppers and terrorized
the bait schools. He reported 4 roosterfish, 2 sailfish and 5 jack
cravelle for the "Secuestro de Amor". Dos Hermanos II reported 2
sailfish and the Dos Hermanos I reported 13 roosterfish and 4 jack
cravelle. All reporting for single fishing days.
I/Z Climate: Mostly cloudy, temps from 73 nights to 90 daytime highs, PM and night rains
Sea Conditions: Mostly calm, temps at 87 throughout the area, clean & blue from 2 miles out of the harbor.
