The fish are scattered over a wide area and there doesn't seem to be any real concentrated area to focus on. Our reports reflect catches were made from the Jaime Bank on the Pacific side to to the areas above the Gorda Banks and from near shore to more than 30 miles offshore. It does appear that the bulk of the yellowfin tuna are being caught 25-30 miles offshore, running with the schools of porpoise, but even then, it's no real bonanza and only a few are being taken. Overall combined catches for the Gaviota Fleet & Fish Cabo Fleet for 32 days fished, reflected 16 stripers, (12 released) 60 yellowfin tuna, 1 sailfish released and 35 dorado.

Cabo Climate: Sunny and clear for the early week and partly cloudy as the week progressed, temps ranged from 76 nights to 96 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Excellent, very warm waters, ranging from 85 at the Golden Gate Bank on the Pacific to 88 at the Gorda Bank on the inside of the peninsula.

Best Fishing Area: None reported, with fish being taken in all directions.

Best Bait/Lure: Not reported.

Live Bait Supply: Remains good, mostly caballitos.
