Norm Kagawa parked his Shogun June 30 after a five-day trip sponsored by Blackwater. Chartermaster Don Kuroye was aboard, and said the group fished Cedros, offshore at 55 miles and inshore for rockfish.
O.P. Almaraz of Chino won first and third place for 36.6 and 35.2-poudn yellowtail, and Tim Ogata of Orange won second place for a 35.7-pounder. Their fish were in the processor's bins, so the trip photo shows two young anglers.
Peter Regala, 15, and Rowdy Evans, 14, posed with a pair of nice yellowtail.
