Shogun Sportfishing Fish Report

6-27-2008
Bruce A. Smith

Yellowtail fishing was great today. We fished most of the day at anchor, with a very nice steady bite throughout the day. The kind of bite in which you land a high percentage of fish. No token halibut or grouper, but we did release a 60# black sea bass. We are leaving the island this evening to put ourselves in a good position to fish albacore our last day. Tomorrow Norm is going to give us a few hours fishing cod, and then continue up toward the tuna grounds.
