The Puerto Morelos Fish Report- The Marina El Cid, Cancun-Cozumel Area
6-5-2008
Larry Edwards
A very difficult week's fishing at Puerto Morelos, with the port
closed on all days except today, due to windy conditions. Today,
three boats fished and produced 2 sailfish, 6 bonitos, 1 dorado, 2
king mackerel and 2 barracuda. It appears that once the wind lets up
and the boats can fish, it will be back to the good fishing, as June
is typically one of the better fishing months of the year.
PM Climate: 79 nights to 91 daytime highs, mostly scattered clouds with an occasional shower, humid.
Sea Conditions: Still windy, but better, blowing from the ESE at 10-15 knots with sea temps at 82 throughout the area
