Once again the Shogun is fishing the waters of San Clemente Island. There isn't much swell, but the wind has been pretty stiff all day. Bass fishing is a bit slow today. Most were caught on fresh dead squid, followed by fin baits and jigs. We managed to boat some decent bottom fish and a stray bonito. The yellowtail haven't been spotted by any of the boats working the front side today, a down day for them. We are going to give it our best shot tomorrow, then its back to port Monday morning. Next Saturday its off to Alijos Rocks and points beyond on an 8 day trip.
