Excellent fishing for beautiful quality yellowfin tuna out on the bank today. Enough for certain to set us right. Well distributed throughout the compliment of anlger's that put in their time at the rail the rewards for effort were richly satisfying. Yellowfin tuna in the 160 – 180 pound class were the norm for quite a while with a little less than a handful of mokes that breached the “deuce”. A few more handfuls of dandies in the 90 – 130 pound class rounded out the action with a prize going to everyone, and then some. Just what the doctored perscribed to allievate the no fish for a few day's psychological malaise all is now set right. And we are not done. Another full twenty four hours and sign around the back suggests more good action to come. With the bulk of production occuring dusk to dawn those full twenty four hours will be maximized. Time to put on the “big boy pants” and get down to business. This is what we came for! Long time Royal Star veteran and friend Steve Peters receives photo honors with a beautiful 209 landed today at the crack of dawn.
