A quick jump to the north and it was over. Superb weather, especially on that heading, made for a fine time of it as angler's enjoyed their final day together reminiscing about the depth of experiences shared during this voyage and others. This being the sixteenth annual “Humboldt Fishin' Lumberjack” Charter needless to say when the yarning begins there is almost no end to the cherished memories recalled. It is a special thing of a value immeasurable. So concludes this tremendously successful outing as we prepare for departure tomorrow on the next seven day run. Our most sincere gratitude is extended especially to Charter Master Craig Heberer for assembling so many of these international professionals on the same boat year after year. A shout out and big thank you is also in order for Craig's wife Teresa who contributes to the annual adventure by hosting the much anticipated, often rowdy pre-party, held the night before departure. The aftermath of such rip roaring revelry is no small chore to recover from when the group of salty angler's head off to sea. And to the entire group of anglers carving time in their busy schedules to make this voyage happen year after year - again thank you; from all of us on the Royal Star team. Final photo honors go to long time Royal Star veteran Sharon Kramer with her 114# yellowfin tuna, and rapidly mastering the fine details of long range fishing, journeyman northern angler Dave Hankin, who triumphed over this beautiful 40# class yellowtail amidst spectacular scenery on our final afternoon.
