Well it took a few days to find the right bunch but indeed today we did. A significantly higher percentage of 100 – 110 pound yellowfin, with plenty of the “stock” 50 – 70's, was just what we were looking for. And we made good on the opportunity. Not that we went overboard, this group of anglers is well acquainted with responsible take understanding that “limits” is often far more quantity that one can effectively utilize, but we got the job done with just about everyone getting a shot at that one big fish that they were hoping for. And for those anglers that were living on the dark side of the luck spectrum today was the perfect chance to settle the score. Ultimately given enough opportunities the equation will balance; and today it did. So we roll into the final day sated on yellowfin tuna now content to focus on a few quality yellowtail as a parting note. Fantastic weather has settled back in offering more fertile ground for the search. Photos today feature Royal Star veterans Steve Kramer and Mike Ives with their 110 pound class yellowfin.
