Almost There
Today should be our last day of total relaxation as we are slated to be on the tuna grounds around 7 tomorrow morning. Four days into the trip and finally all the reels are on rods, all the top shots are on reels, and hooks are on the top shots ready for battle. I always find it amazing that most angler’s fishing trips would probably be over by now and we have yet to really start. Let’s hope that good things come to those who wait. It was a warm and tropical day and the ride has turned just a little bit choppy but not enough to bother anyone. Roy finished off the seminars this morning with advice on fighting fish as well as tackle preparations, and some stern warnings to be ready for your kite turn when you’re up as just a few minutes delay getting a bait in the zone can be enough to shut down a hot kite bite. I guess that’s all I have to say for now. We’ve done all the talking and writing about it we can, time to do it!

POEM OF THE DAY

It was time for his turn on the troll
And Jeb Bush had only one goal
If he got a bite
To hang on tight
And not lose another pole!

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.

While no one expects a repeat performance of such epic fishing, we are going to stop there tomorrow around lunch time and check it out. Our...... Read More

This is Larry Eilbott from St. Louis, and yet again I will be manning the keyboard to bring you the daily reports from the annual Izorline 18 day adventure. As my legion of loyal followers know, (well at least a few people know) I attempt to bring a unique perspective on trip reporting and will of course always make you smile with a daily poem. We got off to a fairly late start as the previous trip had the misfortune...... Read More
