Hey Folks-

We left today on our Rice Bowl 7 day with charter master Fred Morioka. This is always a great group of guys and lots of fun. As usual Fred brings tons of giveaway and raffle prizes ranging from shirts to rods and reels. There are too many sponsors to list! Luckily we had a slammer of sardines saved because all we got at the receivers for bait was mackerel, although it is very good mackerel. We are headed south keeping an eye on the hurricane that is southwest of Cabo. Wish us luck and for the hurricane to go west!

We found plenty of kelps some with fish and some dry. For how many fish you saw on the kelps they sure didn’t want to bite very well. We scratched on the kelps till mid afternoon then started heading up to the tuna grounds. Wish us luck! ...... Read More
