Hey folks-
We worked our way down to Cedros island last night in hopes of some biting Yellowtail. We were shocked to see the water had warmed tremendously since the last time we were here. The water temp is a balmy 78 degrees and beautiful offshore blue. At its we didn’t see much and then around 0930 the whole ocean floated with yellows. We got a couple good drifts in and then it faded away to scratch fishing. Right before dark we got another good whack. The move was well worth it. We are traveling up tonight to fish the beach and try and finish off our yellowtail and then go offshore. Wish us luck!
