We stared looking for kelps off Colonet in flat calm seas and 77 degree water! Pretty incredible how far this warm water has pushed up; its only September! We found plenty of kelps some with fish and some dry. For how many fish you saw on the kelps they sure didn’t want to bite very well. We scratched on the kelps till mid afternoon then started heading up to the tuna grounds. Wish us luck!

Hey folks- We dropped the anchor about 5 am and pulled it at 1130 with limits of yellowtail in the fish hold. It was amazing fishing on very good grade yellows from 18-30#. Hey folks- We worked our way down to Cedros island last night in hopes of some biting Yellowtail. We were shocked to see the water had warmed tremendously since the last time we were here.
