Channel Islands Sportfishing

Today's Fish Count: 6 boats and 168 anglers.

877 Rockfish, 7 Sculpin, 1 Sheephead, 4 Ocean Whitefish, 1 Cabezon, 76 Barracuda, 14 Calico Bass, 1 Perch, 6 Sand Bass and 28 Yellowtail.

Action is picking up around here again, with acres of Yellowtail behind the boats today. Convincing them to bite is another matter, but some boats had success! Weather was quite nice contrary to the forecast, we'll be back out tomorrow at it again!

We are currently out of Live Squid at the bait dock but most of the boats have some in their tanks because they have also been making it themselves on the water. We do have a new load of some awesome Anchovy in the wells now for sale though! Also, remember when booking your trip be sure to ask one of our representatives about tackle requirements for your specific trip. Online booking is always available through our landing website but you can also call us here at the landing to speak with a live person.
