This second week of June has surely been a "break out" week for everyone that has been waiting for the game fish to bite. With today's outstanding catch and still the weekend to go, it's official! Both local island and outer island boats are catching these 30+ pound class Yellowtail and White Seabass at various islands. Besides the Yellows and Seabass, the Calico's and Bottom fish are biting really good right now too. Basically everything has gone "wfo" all of a sudden. Coming into the dark of the moon may be an interesting note for some. Full moon bites are well known, but obviously fish bite when they want. We never know how long this will last, but it does only seem to be the beginning and with the White Seabass limit increasing to 3 fish per rod on June 15th, the stars have aligned!

Some boats are making bait on the water before they start fishing. We do have nice live bait in the wells in the form of large Anchovy and medium Sardine. Some boats have found live squid on the fishing grounds, so we recommend everyone bring a squid snagger if they are going on one of our overnight or full day boats. Be sure to ask one of our representatives about tackle requirements for the specific trip you either booked or would like to book. Online booking is always available through our landing website but you can also call us here at the landing to speak with a live person.
