The fishing was fantastic today at Ventura Sportfishing, with 2 overnight boats and 2 full day boats out on the water. It seems like those big yellowtail wanted to play in our local water, with both the Pacific Eagle and the Island Spirit putting forktails on the deck!

The overnight boats got into the halibut and the white sea bass, with the Amigo smacking one out of the park and scoring limits for 20 lucky anglers! There was a definite uptick in the fishing activity today and its looking to get better.
