More from the admin front today as we work toward modernizing our new website and reservation system. While these changes are a long overdue improvement with such advances come inevitable growing pains. We are still in the transition process that will take a few more weeks to streamline and organize. Foremost our website content and reservation system are still being upgraded. Data entry into the reservation system is a significant part of the process. Several of the voyages presently listed in the schedule and reservation system have availability inconsistent with our paper records. We are aware of the issue. Until our data entry is completed please bear with us. My best advice, and request of all Royal Star anglers, is to please call our office regarding any voyage that you are considering until this transition is completed. It should not be more than a week, two at most, before this is done. Also, because the fluid nature of bookings and cancellations in general, please do not hesitate to call should a particular voyage fit your schedule but is listed as "sold out". There are many occasions when Tracy is able to work her magic and create a space or two on either "open" trips or charters.

In the age of high tech we still retain an old school perspective that dictates nothing is better than personal contact and conversation between Royal Star anglers and ourselves. Captain Brian Sims, Captain Randy Toussaint, Office Manager Tracy Toussaint, all of our veteran crewmen and chef's, and I are a phone call away. We appreciate the opportunity to speak with any prospective anglers dockside, on board Royal Star, or by e-mail or phone. Personal contact is still the best source of information, and builds lasting relationships that transcend business. That is how we do business at Royal Star, and will be regardless of the march of technology.

Thank you to all Royal Star anglers for your patience and support! Enjoy another photo today courtesy of ISSF and David Itano.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
