Timely arrival this morning made for convenient unloading and processing of what ended up being a beautiful load of giant yellowfin tuna in the end. And the end quality of the product can only be described as stunning, premium, absolutely gorgeous. Through diligence on all sides of the equation, from the effort anglers applied at the rail to the professional attention to the product in the RSW tanks once on board it is all glaringly apparent in the end; and all so satisfyingly worth it. The wahoo and tuna landed during this voyage will be shared by friends and family of these successful anglers for many months to come serving as a reminder of the value such voyages represent.

In addition to the cathartic refreshment - nourishment for the soul - such voyages supply to angler's they also provide something tangible to all those in support of their loved one's passion for fishing on the edge. These longer voyages especially come with sacrifices - ball games, birthday's, anniversary's, and more. It's always nice to return with a delicious bounty to assuage any misgivings our loved one's harbor toward our distant adventures. No doubt a gigantic platter of the most beautiful sashimi one can imagine is a good start.

Photos today feature angler Tim Ziegler with his bonus 220 strung from the davit, and one of the numerous beauties on the final day of fishing moments before becoming that aforementioned platter of sashimi; a thought that always warms my heart.
