A couple of admin notes today and news to share. First news is that two spots on the 3 day departing Friday returning Monday just became available. Brian already has received a couple of inquiries but nothing has been firmed up in the way of deposits. At present both are available. Bluefin on the local offshore grounds in U.S. waters, yellowfin within 100 miles of San Diego to the south, and plenty of yellowtail along the coast and offshore on kelps mean opportunity is out there waiting. Good weather in the weekend forecast paves the way for a shot at the offshore tuna for certain. With a departure time of 11:00 am on Friday there will be ample time to fish either offshore or along the coast Friday evening. Add in a full day Saturday and Sunday and this voyage becomes a remarkable value - an extension of the fishing schedule Royal Star anglers enjoyed throughout the summer of 2014. Give us a call in the office as soon as possible if you are interested in these last two spaces that just became available.

Second on the list of announcements is that Co-owner/Captain Brian Sims has done a "spring cleaning" of our reservation and deposit books making a bounty of summer and fall space available to the first depositing customers. This means that the four and five day's in July, a few of the seven day's July through September, and the eight day and five day's in October have opportunities for a couple to a handful of anglers ready to commit with deposits. Once again more than a few of those coveted summer spaces on Royal Star, that are typically very difficult to reserve, are available to the first depositing customers. Ann, Capt. Sims, and I will be available the remainder of the week with Tracy resuming command this coming Friday. If any individual or small groups of anglers are still looking for a summer/fall Royal Star voyage a stroke of good fortune has made space available.
