Mellow Travel

A calm day of mellow travel - not much to stimulate the senses other than an odd strike on small yellowfin tuna in the five to seven pound range. Interesting to say the least, and significant considering the location and time of year, but not unexpected, and consistent with the "El Nino" presently in effect. At the very least what we saw today supports the notion that we will be fishing for, and catching, yellowfin on the local offshore grounds this summer season, perhaps sooner than later. Though the size average of what we released today was nothing to trumpet, the presence of these little devils already on the long range offshore grounds most certaintly is. Such sign is making the upcoming three day runs appear better by the minute.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
