Travel mode - flat calm, leisure, a little serious rigging, then the boys went on an afternoon tear. Yesterday's sweet evening reverie became full scale revelry today. Whoa. I can honestly report, from astute visual and audio observation, that a good time was had by all. These anglers do it right; a perfect combination of spirited conversation, group activities, and good natured ribbing. Fueled by keg, mind, and time the perpetual nature of such festivity is nigh assured to continue; until fishing starts anyway.

And for that we are prepared, ready. The travel is soothing, a little time to slow land life's pace and reflect or forget, but enough is exactly that. Fishing is what we come for, and we will execute in the first, highly anticipated strategic destination, tomorrow by noon. Atfer that comes what we know will be another real travel reprieve; that we hope will be necessary to regroup and recover. Come on Skinnies. Though this season has broken all the rules one can rightly assume that all good things are precariously poised to diminish. It just can't last forever. Right?
