Today we worked offshore looking for the Dorado and Tuna we sampled two days ago. The good water was still in the area, and we found plenty of small kelp paddies. The fish however, were either deep due to the weather, or made a move to a new area. We managed to avoid being -skunked- by means of a few Dorado that jumped on our trolled jigs. Not the day we had hoped for, but thankfully we had a sample on board from the first afternoon. We will be at the dock in the morning and Tim will bring the boat back out for a 10 day trip on Wednesday morning.
