We departed on a three day trip early this morning and managed to find pretty good dorado fishing this afternoon. We mixed in a little bit of tuna as well. Overall it was a nice starter kit, with daily limits coming aboard, on an afternoon usually reserved for travel.

10/27/14 A picture perfect ending. The grumpy weather rapidly subsided leaving behind a big, rolling, mixed ground and wind swell that served to emphasize the good fortune of what became zero wind by noon. 10/26/14 Much to be thankful for today; the right place at the right time being foremost. Steadily increasing wind and seas made the salient lee of Isla San Martin mighty useful, but not before we compiled an excellent morning score on 12 - 22 pound yellowtail.
